The school year has just finished for me, as I took two classes at Ole Miss in June. I finished my audiology class Friday and took my Spanish final yesterday. Mom and Will came over to help me move out of my house before my final. Exciting! There has been a stray cat staying around my house recently, and Mom wanted to take it home, but she never could pick it up or coax it into one of those pet taxis. I had named him Vanderbilt- Vandy for short. Oh well. And last night we all went to my grandparents' for a supper of food from their garden--my favorite meal!
So now I have a few days at home in Pontotoc before I head for North Carolina Saturday. (I am NOT looking forward to the drive there. I always let Will drive through the big cities.) I'll be living at student housing with other interns at the University of North Carolina. I really am not too sure what exactly I'll be doing there. I just know I'll be working with children with developmental delays. I am very much looking forward to this.
I'm not sure how often I'll get to post, but hopefully I will a good bit. And thanks to my amazing brother, Will, for helping me put this blog together.
