Home

So some people, you know who you are, have been bugging me about finishing my blog. So here goes...

I am HOME. I've actually been home for almost two weeks now. It's great to be back with my family and friends...and Penny. Pontotoc is just the same as how I left it.
Looking back on the internship, I can see what a GREAT experience it was. In so many many ways. So glad I did it. For so many many reasons.

School starts back Monday. I'm excited. Yes, excited. I love school. It's going to be a different kind of year...Living at home for the first time in three years will be different. Not living on my own, not living in a college town, not living so close to all of my friends...it'll all be different. But moving home was the right decision. Financially. I hate that I'm at the point where I have to consider these things, but alas, I am. Putting myself through graduate school will be challenging, so any extra money I can save now will only help me in the long run. I've given up a lot, but it'll be worth it.

My to-do list for this year:
study for the GRE
take the GRE
PRAY HARD FOR DECENT GRE SCORES
apply to graduate school(s)
select desired graduate school
GRADUATE

so here's to a new school year! New people, new places, new adventures, new challenges... It's all so exciting...and a little unsettling...

  3. Amy, you know Daddy and I will help you any way we can and I am going to enjoy having you around a little more this year before you move to who-knows-where. Your future is so bright and exciting! (Whether you are in a big city or a little city!)

  4. Thanks for finishing! It was great flying up to see you. Please go somewhere else so that I can have an excuse to fly more places. And still try hard to find an SLP program at UGA!
