Wow, it's been entirely too long since I have blogged! I was waiting for my friend to email me pics from the game last weekend, but they haven't shown up yet. :-( I'll go ahead and blog and post those pictures with the ones we take this weekend.
Looking back now, the past few weeks seem like a blur of the same ridiculously difficult school stuff (seriously I had no idea how hard grad school would be, are you sure I'm not in med school?), same CRAZY busy schedule (clinic all day, class all night), tests, studying, stressing, eating way too much fast food, drinking way too many cups of coffee, and working very hard with my clients.
There have been some exciting things though...

Celebration Village! This is quite possibly my most favorite event of the year! I love going and looking at all of the wonderful things, and I love that sneak peek of Christmas! My mom and I have gone together every year for many years. It is our tradition, and I seriously count down days until Celebration Village time. Unfortunately, my mom wasn't able to go this year... Please pray for God's healing for her body. She needs your prayers! I know there will be many other opportunities for us to go to CV, but this year just wasn't the same without her!
Also this week, my graduate program hosted the annual Fall Institute at the Inn at Ole Miss. It's an annual conference for SLPs from all over the country. We had a wonderful speaker, and I got to meet some great SLPs. (We also got to miss two days of clinic/class which was a much needed break!) I had a great time with my fellow "first years".
There has also been plenty of football/tailgating! (I stole this picture of our tables from a friend's facebook).

Sorry to ramble! Hopefully the next post will have more pictures!
I know how important this tradition is to your mom and yourself. Bless yoU! I'm sending up a special prayer for her! Let me know what's going on! Miss you!
