A Win for the Rebels!

Finally a football victory for my Rebels!

 Saturday we had beautiful weather. It was perfect fall football weather... such a difference from last week's rainy winter weather! We got to the Grove about 9 AM and had a breakfast tailgate. So fun! The game was at 11 AM, and we had such a good time. So nice to finally be able to enjoy a game and leave happy. Well a loss never really bothers me, but Evan... well that's a completely different story... 

 After the game we went back to the Grove and had our afternoon tailgate. More good food and more beautiful weather. I wouldn't trade Saturdays like these for any in the world...

I had Monday off from Lafayette Elementary because the schools were out for Fall Break. Just one of the perks of working in the school system! Hmmm... maybe I should reconsider my "avoid working in the school system at all costs" plan... I loved having the day off and having extra time to sleep/ do homework.

Tonight (Tuesday) my class was cancelled, so Evan and I got to go eat dinner and spend some time on the Square. We walked around enjoying the fall temperatures and ended up at Square Books. I decided I needed coffee, so we headed upstairs to the coffee shop. Then we walked out and enjoyed the view from atop Square Books.

Looking forward to another fun weekend this weekend! No football game but there *will* be a wedding! Always fun for me. :-)
