This weekend was the perfect relaxing weekend. Sometimes it nice to just go HOME.
Saturday morning Will and I went and absentee voted. Rebels for Romney!
While leaving the courthouse I found this Colonel Reb scarecrow. (Please note the bulldog puppies in the basket.) :-)
Saturday afternoon Mom and I had our annual trip to Celebration Village! This is our tradition and it means so much to me. I look forward to Celebration Village and this special time with my mother all year long. We have been doing this for several years and it is such a fun time. I hope it is a mother/daughter tradition we continue for many many years!
This was us when we got home. There were actually more bags inside of those bags. We shopped!
Then Saturday night I went over to my sweet Christopher's to give him his birthday present. I can't believe how old he is getting! This boy means so much to me, and my heart is so full of love for him. :-)
Sunday night I got to babysit Lottie! This is my professor's daughter and I enjoy her so much. We have so much fun playing dress up, having tea parties, reading books, and playing with her baby dolls. Is it too early to start praying that God allows me to be a girl mom? Seriously, I love every bit of the pink, frilly, sparkly-ness that comes with little girls.
I love the thought of going to Celebration Village with mom and my own daughter one day. I just think that would be so special. :-)
Anyway here are some pictures of my sweet Lottie!
Only 5 more days at Lafayette Elementary School! As my time is coming to end though, I am starting to have a change of heart... but that's a different post for a later date.
Oh, I want to be a girl mom too! Can't wait to hear "that post"! Happy Almost done!!!!
