MSHA and Easter

Last week I got two days off of work at the hospital to attend MSHA. This is the annual speech-language hearing association conference. The conference was good, but  I most enjoyed having two days off from NMMC.

I drove down Monday after work with my best friend from graduate school-Whitney. It was so great to have that time to catch up on life! We actually stayed at her parents' house in Brandon, and they were just the sweetest hosts!

Tuesday and Wednesday we attended the conference. It was great to see other SLPs from the state (some were former Ole Miss students) and attend some good sessions about exciting things that are happening in the world of speech-language pathology. I just kept thinking... "I am SO CLOSE to being one of these women. Just a few more weeks!". I cannot wait.

Part of our group with two of our professors.

Tuesday I met my old ballet friend Allison for coffee at Cups. It was great to catch up with her too!
That night I went to Target (duh!) and met up with Claire. We had such a good time talking and laughing.

Wednesday after the conference Whitney and I drove back home, and I returned to work on Thursday. The work week went by so fast, and I was so thankful for that.

Saturday afternoon I headed to Memphis and then spent Easter with the Goudy's. I always love spending time with them!  But I did miss being with my own family!

My gift from Evan.

Only 5 more weeks (including this one!) until my   externship is over!

The job hunt is in full swing now that it is April. and I am getting a little overwhelmed. Keep me in your prayers!
