Evan and I had our "Christmas" together this week. Our families travel too far apart (5 hours or so) for us to make it to both, and neither one of us is ready to give up Christmas with our own family, so for now, we do our Christmas a little early.
I spent Thursday and Friday in Memphis. Thursday we braved the mall maddness at Wolfchase Galleria. We weren't really shopping ourselves, it was more of just something to do. It was crazy crowded.
Friday night we went to Zoo on Ice at the Memphis Zoo. They have tons of light displays to look at all around the zoo. AND there is an ice skating rink!
Evan basically had to hold my hand the whole time. Ice skating is not my thing. He, on the other hand, actually used to play ice hockey when he was younger. He was a pro.
