The 24th birthday!

It was a wonderful 24th birthday! I am so lucky that I get to share my birthday with my brother. Being a twin is such a blessing, and I love our special day together.

We started the day by attending church in Tupelo. I am always so touched by the songs we sing and the words we hear at The Orchard.  I have been attending church in Oxford since late August, and I had forgotten just how great this church is... What a joy it was to be back.

After church we had a family lunch at Mimi's. She and Gran-Gran fixed our favorite foods, and it was delicious as always! For dessert we had a caramel cake from Sugaree's! Yum!  I honestly can't think of a better way to spend a birthday than surrounded by family. I am so grateful for our family and the love we have for one another. That in itself is gift enough for me. :-)

But as an added bonus I got this great Ole Miss plate!

I had been wanting an Ole Miss dish to use when I take food to the Grove! I love it! I realize that this plate will spend the majority of its life on a plate stand on the counter in my kitchen (due to my lack of ability to cook)... but for the few times a year I actually take a dish somewhere it is perfect!

And here are some pictures of the birthday boy and girl!

Love you, brudder!

My best friend...

My 24th year will sure be an exciting one! Graduation...starting a career... and who knows what else!

Love,
Amy
