Finals week and Nutcracker!

Finals week is upon us! I can't believe this is my *last ever* finals week. Praise the Lord! Luckily most of my professors assign projects as finals, so I don't really have to do any "studying". I hate studying.  But I have had a TON of work to do this past week/weekend. My projects were all due by midnight tonight. Thankfully I worked on them throughout the entire week, so I didn't have to frantically finish tonight.

Every time I talk to someone who has already graduated about how excited I am to be DONE with school,  they tell me I am going to miss it... I can't imagine missing school.

There is always so much to do...
Gosh I love my EC Planner!
I have lists and lists and piles and piles of books all over my house.

Some of my lists are even broken down into "To Do Tonight"... I realize that I am an obsessive list maker/planner but I just feel so much better when I have everything that I have to do written out.
But there comes a point when you have to put aside your responsibilities and enjoy life. And how better else to enjoy life than going to the ballet!?!

Saturday night Evan and I went to Ballet Memphis's Nutcracker at the Orpheum. It was beautiful. I am always in such awe of those talented dancers. This really is something I look forward to all year long.

And one of the perks of being an adult at the Orpheum... wine! While you watch the ballet! How very "Amy"... Watching the Sugar Plum Fairy and drinking Pinot Grigio... what could be more wonderful?

And after the ballet we walked down to Rendezvous! It was 10 PM when we got out, and luckily the kitchen is open until 11.

Evan's "thank goodness that is over and I'm about to eat ribs" face...

And my "oh my goodness that was soooo beautiful, I love the Nutcracker, AND I'm about to eat ribs" face

We had a great meal and a great night! I am officially in the Christmas spirit! Just as soon as I give an undergrad final at 8 AM, take my final at 5 PM, and grade all of those undergrad finals my Christmas break will begin!
