(quite a difference between this week and the last week of classes!)
Friday night Evan and I went on a double date with our friends Whitney and Chase. We went to Taylor Grocery and then back to our place to hang out.
Evan and Chase played some football game for hours while Whitney and I sat on the couch and talked about life after graduate school. It's hard to believe that the graduate school chapter of life is almost over, but Whitney and I are both looking forward to what lies ahead!
Saturday I went home to Pontotoc to spend some time with my family. We did a little shopping and then I went to Nutcracker #2.
Sunday was another wonderful day at the Orchard. I am just so thankful for my church.
Last night Evan and I went to Whitney and Chase's house. Our friends Stephanie and Greg came too!
We all watched A Christmas Story and then the boys all ended up playing more football...
We girls sat around the table and drank hot chocolate and yet again talked about life after graduate school... engagements, weddings, jobs, babies (for Whitney and Steph as they are both already married!), decorating houses... It was another fun night. :-)
Today Evan and I ran some errands around Oxford and then went to the Gingerbread Village at the Ford Center. They had a neat display.
how cute!
this one was called "Christmas on the Bayou"
complete with alligators swimming in the swampy water...
The Oxford Moms and Tots group did these cute little houses. Our friends Katie and Joel have two young children (Noah and Annie) and they made houses!
Merry Christmas!
Looks like life is going well for you, little Amy! Miss you!
