I am loving...

I am loving summertime.
I am loving being done with class at 3:00 and having the rest of my afternoon/night to relax or do homework.
I am loving my placement at Regional Rehab. LOVING.
I am loving our summer wreath! (and let me just add that I made this wreath for FIVE dollars. Wreath making on a budget! The mesh I got for $2 on sale, the flamingo was on sale at Target for $0.68, and the pinwheels were from the dollar section at Target.)

I am loving that Zachary was in town visiting from Johns Hopkins and that we got to have dinner with him!

I am loving our new found appreciation for grilling. I don't even know how to turn the thing on, but Evan has been making some delicious meals on it!

I am loving that I got to spend the weekend in Memphis. We went to Dyer's (you can read about it by clicking HERE) and to the Redbirds game. We sat on the bluff and had perfect weather!

And last but not least...

I am loving this man!
Happy Father's Day!
The older I get the more I realize that not everyone got as lucky as I did in the parent department. I seriously have the best parents in the world. Today I honor my dad!

Daddy,
Thank you for the random "daddy loves you" text messages that always make all the difference in my day. Thank you for ALWAYS telling me goodnight when I am home on the weekends. ;-) Thank you for teaching me all of the practical things I need to know but never learned along the way (like how to fix leaky pipes and how often to change air filters in my house). Thank you for teaching me to be independent and proud of who I am. Thank you for showing me what it means to love and give sacrificially. Thank you for finding a balance... for always being there to support me but also pushing me out into the world and teaching me the importance of being able to look back and say "I did it all by myself." Thank you for working so hard to provide for our family. Thank you for showing me what kind of man to look for in a husband.  Thank you for being the best dad I could ever ask for.
I love you.
Amy K
