Film Festival Friday

As I mentioned in a previous post, Friday was the day of the Magnolia Film Festival. Will’s video “Dancer in Black and White” (click here to see it) was chosen out of hundreds of videos to be shown and judged. My family and I (and Evan!) went to Starkville to watch Will’s video premier. His video was shown in a group of eight short films and two feature films. A few of the other film producers and directors were there also. Many of them had studied film at schools in California and some videos were shot in places like Central Park. All of the videos were wonderful, and it was great to see Will’s video “hold its own” when compared to the others. We were so proud of him! After the videos were all shown, there was a question and answer session with audience members and the producers/directors. It was a great night! I have the most amazing brother. I love him so much.

The girl to my left is a G2 (Second year grad student) in speech path at the W. Of Course I approached her and asked her tons of questions about the program and her opinion of it! Still waiting on my letters.... *fingers crossed*
